A BY&T lifestyle podcast for women.

Each time-efficient episode offers empowering practices to intentionally incorporate into your everyday life.

Episode 03: Your Success

Today on the podcast our focus is ‘success’ and what it means to us as individuals. When I think of ‘success’ I define it a bit differently than most. I’m not talking about achieving wealth or fame. I’m talking about the success that is bred from a conscious choice to move from your past, and into your present. It’s being accountable and using the gifts and talents that you have to offer. It’s the responsibility of creating your own happiness, or intentionally adjusting your life’s direction in any given moment, when you know you should yield, stop or turn around. Success is being fully engaged in your actions and your reactions.

So how do we achieve this type of success?

Whether you schedule a few minutes to begin your day or multi-task while listening for needed renewal, I look forward to being a part of your journey—and you a part of mine!

Summary of Podcast:

(00:26) Before I launched the new website at the beginning of the year, I shared a post on my social media feed that said, ‘I’m launching my website tomorrow…Yes this is an accountability post!’

(1:03) There are various types of accountability. Unfortunately I think in general, the definition of ‘being accountable’ has gotten a negative reputation.

(2:00) And when I use the word, ‘success’ I’m defining it a bit differently than most. I’m not talking about achieving wealth or fame.

(3:15) Today we’re going to focus on three practices that can help you maneuver your way to the rewards of success, that stems from accountability.

Thanks so much for being an example and living out exactly what you talked about. It’s sometimes scary work to continually “put yourself out there.” But I love your antidote: accountability. Yes! I for sure need people to keep me accountable to my dreams or it would be easy to shrink back down and not have the bravery you talked about. Thanks for sharing! I feel encouraged to continue to press into who I am and what my purpose is!

I’m right along side you Katie. Vulnerability is hard! And I often ‘suffer’ from fear of the unknown. But I am learning slowly to press forward! And I feel accountability does help! I am so happy you feel encouraged. You have so many gifts to share! Staying open to new ways of thinking is beneficial for us all! xo~ D

Robin, Accountability has really become a gift to me—it takes a ton of courage, but it’s that catalyst that seems to really move me forward into areas of my life that I am doubting. I appreciate your feedback! xo~D
