Summary of Podcast:

(00:32) I am back from my 5 days of reflection.

(1:50) I departed the next morning and headed to the Yucatán peninsula in Mexico —I love Mexico. It really has a special place in my heart.

(3:27) So when my husband shared about his upcoming travels, I thought, ‘This is it. It’s perfect timing.’ And I’ll be honest with you, I had some doubt arise.

(5:11) Have you ever thought that you’re not enough? Or observed others work on social media and thought, ‘She is so much more gifted than I…?’

(7:40) You see, we forget about all the work it took to be where we are today in our individual lives. We forget to continue to recognize and celebrate our change and our growth.

(11:40) I looked up the definitions of optimism and had to smile big: confidence, certainty, enthusiasm, happiness, calmness, cheer, trust, encouragement—and the list goes on.

(12:53) I chose to take 5 simplistic and ordinary days and they became 5 extraordinary days and a memory I will carry for my lifetime. And I want to offer the same opportunity to you!

(13:58) Within this Podcast’s episode description, you’ll find (2) links.
