Providing women educational & insightful resources to live an intentional lifestyle.
I was recently in San Diego spending time with my family and I experienced something with so much depth to it, that I want to gift it to you.
There have been many times in my life when I’ve felt vulnerable and been in, what I’ll refer to as ‘my lowest of lows.’
Perhaps you can resonate?
And this recent experience has me asking you and I a pretty big question:
Perhaps this covering up or avoidance, negates any benefit that our hardship, difficulty or heartache, has to offer? And let me tell you why…
Because there is life within each of them!
Connect with me in episode 41 of The practice of living as we intend podcast, where we take a little beach walk together along the shoreline and discuss the ebb and flow of life, growth opportunities and why longing for a better time or place, may not be the right answer.
Thanks for listening in! I’m grateful you are here!
Be you, and thrive

I’ve realized as I’ve grown up through certain situations that sometimes sitting them for longer than we like, makes me realize more. I gain more knowledge about myself, the person sitting in this space with me, the season of life I’m in. What a good topic to discuss.
Thanks for sharing Stefanie. I am so glad this topic resonates with you. I hope you enjoy the podcast! xo~D
I think as women we feel the pressure to be a certain way or be strong but yet inside we also experience al ot of emotions and choose to suppress a lot of them because of it. I agree with you it is better to be real, transparent – no coverups. Better for the soul!
This definitely resonated with me. I am a very stoic person who does not like to show when I am struggling. Working on it.
Ah, Leigh..we all struggle. This is a part of the ‘human-condition’. When I am open to see the beauty, even in the struggle, is when growth has happened in my life. I am finding the depth of the highs and lows! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. I’m happy we’ve connected! xo!
