Meet Kirby Jay Conyette . ikamCreate
Artsy Engineer—Designing a World of Elegant Whimsy

Creativity is Kirby’s life source. It keeps her connected with the beauty that exists in this world and is her escape from the negative aspects of reality. Kirby-JC describes creativity as, ‘….my release that allows me to add some of my own magic to the beauty that’s already here. I would create even if I had an audience of one—and it was me!’ Her work at ikamCreate features exquisite glassware, boho-chic canvases and whimsical floral backdrops.

Kirby’s art is absolutely beautiful! And what speaks greatly to my heart is her love for others. She recently has began a Created to Love campaign, which focuses on enhancing the well-being of our fellow sisters and strengthening our sense of community. She says, ‘I want us to be more intentional with our expression of love for each other.’

Meet Amy Dixon . AmyDixon Art + Design
Artist

Finding early inspiration in the mountain and ocean vistas of her childhood in Nova Scotia, Amy is drawn to natural beauty and place in her art. She says, ‘One of the biggest sources of inspiration for my art is travel. Whether it’s spending a few weeks in Europe or taking a quick weekend jaunt to the mountains, there’s nothing that fuels my painting more!’

I appreciate Amy’s desire to express beauty through her artwork, which is primarily in acrylic. Her talent is truly remarkable! Amy has showcased her abstract and landscape paintings at markets, festivals, cafés, and show homes.

Meet Sarah Stevens . Cellar Designs

Typography artistTelling your story through art

After gifting signs, stain glass vases and many other handmade pieces to family and friends, more requests began coming in and thus Cellar Designs was born. Years later, Sarah has made thousands of signs. Although grateful for each commissioned piece, those that mean the most are for buyers who share their heart and the stories behind the signs. Her favorite so far is the “In This Home” sign that is hanging in a new orphanage in Zambia, built for children who have never experienced the love of a home. One day she hopes to go to Africa and see this orphanage herself!

Sarah creates one-of-a-kind hand painted wall art using reclaimed wood and salvaged architectural treasures. She also recently has taken up lettering and is incredibly talented at it! She shares, ‘I have always felt there was power in words, warmth in color, strength in typography and an abundance of blessings found in inspired art. I am amazed daily of how that shows up to be the truth.’

Sarah’s passion behind creating each piece is heartfelt. When you visit her website and Instagram, you will quickly be inspired as her powerful words through short stories are genuinely present!
