Providing women educational & insightful resources to live an intentional lifestyle.
When we initiate change or growth in our lives, and when we are outside of our comfort zone creating ‘new normals’ for ourselves, we are going to come across unexpected circumstances.
Who can resonate??
Whatever area that you are specifically working on—a relationship with a person or your relationship with doubt or courage, your ability to find peace within your anxieties, your forgiveness toward another or toward a past situation—whatever it is, it’s going to be challenged.
In my experience, all the worthwhile growth and change, is.
This week in The Practice of Living as we Intend podcast, I share about a challenging moment that I experienced last week—and I allowed it to cause a temper tantrum. Oi!! It was absolutely unexpected and also absolutely humbling.
Join me in Episode 33, as we discuss re-framing how to accept the challenges that arise on the day-to-day, and how we can also give life to the steadiness of continued growth!
Let down your guard friend. You don’t have to catch every curve ball.
I look forward to connecting in this week’s podcast!
Big love,
D

I love this! There’s so much truth in the idea that the way we think about our circumstances, makes all the difference!
Most definitely! We can reframe our thinking and our reactions (doing) to each challenge we face. This practice ‘in steadiness’ as I refer to it, allows us to step forward vs. backward—which is what we all desire in life! xoxo~D
Perfect. We are all thrown curve balls. We need to face them the best we can.
We sure are all thrown curve balls Nicol! Sometimes it’s crazy, right?! Yet, in reality, we don’t have to catch them like we ‘think’ we need to. We do have an ability to react differently, reframe our thinking and definition of ‘how to react’. OOOooo! I truly enjoyed talking in this podcast, because it’s like a big light bulb went on! Thanks for your comment! xo~D
