Summary of Podcast:
10 Practices to living with more awareness and intention—Part 2
(00:35) I’m in Cartagena and Bogota, Colombia this week with my husband. We have an annual tradition to travel over one of our birthdays, as they are a week apart. I’m hoping you can hear the birds in the background as I record this podcast live from outside.

(1:57) “Oh lord it’s hard to be humble, when you’re perfect in every way!” Oh vulnerability, humility and pride. Vulnerability is allowing ourselves to be accessible, exposed and ready.

(3:43) Self-love has so much depth to it; So much so that I like to narrow it down to two practices: caring about oneself and taking responsibility for oneself. And I believe you have to learn how to do the first (caring), before you can act on the second (taking responsibility).

(5:55) When I think of giving myself grace, I think of allowing myself to be refined because I know I am human and therefore I know I am imperfect. With each allowance of grace that we give ourselves, all the sharp edges (our imperfect), begin to be polished into something smoother.
